foot hold onto the ladder to TV presentation. You've got to start

Most showreels can be shot in
1 day along with your TV presenter training & coaching.
You'll learn how to look relaxed in front of a camera, how
to work on location and interview people, also how to
talk to time and memorise lines. You'll learn how not to
look awkward. We'll also teach you how to use your voice
for TV presenting and what to do with those hands. We'll show you
what you can expect on film shoots and above all your
Telly Faces Director will do his best to draw out your
Unique Selling Point (USP). This is crucial for
success on TV. Having just a pretty face won't make you
a TV presenter, you'll need other talents too, including
personality.

The Telly Faces day begins
at 09.30 and we're finished filming and training by approx 3pm. We'll edit
your TV package and send it to you on DVD within 10
days. We can add your showreel to a website for
potential bookers to
download and view. We offer exclusive on going
help, guidance and advice.
Your completed TV showreel
will run 2 to 3 minutes when cut and edited. It'll take on
the appearance of a TV feature item one might see on
lifestyle programmes of all kinds.

Your TV director is Rod Lucas (pictured below) a
TV & Radio broadcast professional with over 35 years experience in
UK, Canadian & USA Radio & TV production, making
lifestyle & documentary programmes
His career path has seen him as a studio manager,
sound supervisor, film editor and Network
Director/Producer. He's also a SONY award winner producer. In the last 15 years he's also
produced and directed in news working with TV reporters
and presenters. He's produced and directed for
BBC National, ITV, SKY TV and indie TV production
houses. Rod has been dedicated to broadcasting since he
was 15
years old when he did his first BBC programme. |

In the 90's Rod Lucas worked as a Network
producer for the Canadian Broadcasting
Corporation (CBC TV & Radio). He
produced programmes of all kinds, lifestyle, documentary and news from London
and mainland Europe for broadcast across Canada. He's an ace at
working 1 to 1 with TV reporters and directing
action driven reports. He's recently been
appointed a Director of the new digital TV
station Valley TV Spain where he
supplies TV programmes for British Expats living
in Spain. |
